Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Her Compass ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Her Compass is a women's health companion app that provides symptom tracking, AI-powered health insights, wellness content, and tools to support women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. The App is available on iOS devices through the Apple App Store.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Her Compass. By using the App you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Subscriptions & Billing

Her Compass offers a free tier and a premium subscription (Her Compass+). Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store:

• Monthly Plan: $7.99 per month
• Annual Plan: $49.99 per year
• Free Trial: A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancellation: Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Not Medical Advice

Her Compass is designed to help you track and understand your health patterns. The AI Companion and all content within the App are provided for informational and wellness purposes only. Nothing in Her Compass constitutes:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• A substitute for professional medical consultation
• A recommendation to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment

Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any health concerns or before making any decisions related to your health or treatment.

User Responsibilities

When using Her Compass, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information to the best of your ability
• Use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Not use the AI Companion for any unlawful or harmful purposes
• Keep your account credentials secure

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Her Compass — including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Her Compass and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Her Compass is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Her Compass and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on information provided by the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
